Candle Safety Reminder:

Always practice fire safety when working with candles. Never leave candles unattended, and be mindful of how much oil and herbs you use, less is often just as effective and much safer.

Tip:

When burning 3-day or 7-day candles, place the glass candle inside a larger hurricane-style candle holder (made specifically for candles) and add a small amount of water to the bottom. If the glass container cracks or breaks while lit, the flame will be contained and can extinguish in the water instead of reaching your altar cloth or surrounding surfaces.
